MODULAR & INTEGRATED ATPL

FLIGHT TRAINING PROGRAMS

Ready to embark on your journey toward becoming a pilot?
Dento Aviation Flight Academy has one of the most successful ab-initio airline pilot training programs in Cyprus. The latin adverb "ab initio" translates as "from the beginning", thereby used as an industry standard airline oriented flight training program for cadets from zero experience to becoming a commercial pilot. The AB-inition course can be conducted as a modular course (broken into different courses) or as an integrated course. Here at Dento Aviation we give our cadets to choose between Modular or Integrated ATPL programme depending on their needs.
View our available options below to choose which programme best suites your needs. If you are a graduate pilot looking for additional training, take a look at our Advanced Pilot Training Programmes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For the issuance of an EASA Private Pilot Licence (PPL), applicants must hold a valid EASA Class 2 Medical Certificate.
Students enrolling in either a Modular ATPL or Integrated ATPL programme are required to hold a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate. A Class 1 Medical Certificate is a mandatory prerequisite for commencing ATPL training and must be obtained before enrollment to the programme.
Medical examinations must be conducted by an approved Aero-Medical Examiner (AME) or Aero-Medical Centre (AeMC) authorised to issue EASA medical certificates.
A pre-entry ICAO English test is intended for individuals who are just beginning their aviation training journey. At this stage, no technical aviation knowledge or flying experience is required. The purpose of the assessment is simply to determine whether the candidate can communicate clearly, effectively, and confidently in English in order to commence training successfully.

COMPARISON AREAS BETWEEN MODULAR & INTEGRATED ATPL

MODULAR ATPL

VS

INTEGRATED ATPL

MODULAR ATPL COURSE MODULE BREAKDOWN

1. PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL)

COST €13.500
PPL Theoretical Training (100 hrs): The purpose of the theoretical training is to teach the syllabus for the nine theoretical subjects and to pass the relevant in-house exams. For this purpose, Dento has created its own e-learning platform which allows online learning, followed by a minimum of 2 days classroom review and then relevant in-house exams.
PPL Flight Training (45 hrs): Once a minimum level of theoretical training is completed, the students could commence flight training congruently with their theoretical training.
Note: Prior to the 1st solo, all students should obtain a Class I Medical. Additionally, all trainees should demonstrate at least an Operational Level of English Language Proficiency (ELP) before their PPL skill test.

2. NIGHT RATING (NR)

COST €1.500
Night Rating (5 hrs theory + 5hrs practical): This phase also includes theoretical and practical training. Therefore, here too, “Dento” has created its own e-learning platform which allows online learning, followed by instructor briefings and finally by the flight training.

3. HOUR BUILDING (HR)

COST €
Hour Building and Monitored Flight Experience packages are designed for student pilots working towards their Commercial Pilot License. These programs provide Private Pilot License (PPL) holders with the opportunity to enhance their skills while learning to fly more advanced aircraft under the expert guidance of a Flight Instructor.

4. AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT LICENCE (ATPL) THEORETICAL TRAINING

COST €8.500 (FULL-TIME) / €3.500 (DISTANCE LEARNING)
ATPL Theoretical Training (650 hrs): The purpose of the theoretical training is to teach the syllabus for the thirteen theoretical subjects and to pass the relevant EASA exams. For this purpose, we cooperate with Bristol Ground School and the course is conducted four days per week, as an in-classroom ground school.
Hour Building: This part would be conducted once a week.
Note: Weekly training plan entails, a) theoretical training to be conducted four days per week with 25% of the time been allocated for review, and b) flight training (hour building) to be conducted once weekly.

5. COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL) / INSTRUMENT RATING (IR) / MULTI-ENGINE PISTON (MEP)

COST €26.000
This phase commences once, a) all the 13 ATP written exams have been passed, and b) have completed the hour building.
Combine MEP / IR / CPL (A) in sequence : This is the last and final phase of training which is completed as shown above. Once the training is completed, then the IR and CPL skill tests could be conducted.
Licence Issued: Once all the phases are successfully completed, the successful students are eligible to obtain a CPL / IR / MEP and once they complete 1.500 hrs of flying experience, they would be eligible to obtain an ATPL.

6. PERFORMANCE BASED NAVIGATION (PBN)

COST €1.000
The purpose of the ground training is to teach the syllabus for the Performance Based Navigation (PBN) Course. For this purpose Dento has created its own e-learning platform which allows distance learning which is then followed by an instructor briefing.

7. UPSET PREVENTION RECOVERY TRAINING (UPRT)

COST €1.450
The purpose of the ground training is to teach the syllabus for the Advance Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT) Course. For this purpose “Dento” has created its own e-learning platform which allows distance learning which is then followed by an instructor briefing.
