Embark on your flying journey for recreational purposes or as the first step towards a professional pilot license with the top-ranked flight school in Cyprus. Begin your course today to obtain an EASA qualifying Private Pilot License (PPL) designed for non-commercial operations only.

PRIVILAGES WITH EASA PPL LICENSE

With the EASA Private Pilot License you have the availabitity to fly anywhere in the world as it is worldwide accepted. With a PPL, you can act as the pilot-in-command (PIC) of an aircraft for non-commercial purposes. This allows you to fly for personal enjoyment, recreation, or training.

PPL holders can fly to various airports and destinations, exploring new places and enhancing their flying skills.

With a Private Pilot License (PPL), you have the privilege of flying with passengers and enjoying the experience of aviation with your loved ones. It’s important to note that PPL holders cannot conduct flights for hire or receive compensation. However, you are allowed to share the operational costs of a flight with passengers onboard, allowing for shared experiences in the skies.

As a holder of a PPL, you can use your license as a steping stone for advanced flight training to pursue further ratings, endorsements, or certifications and hour building.

You have the ability to rent aircraft for personal use, giving you the flexibility to fly different types of aircraft and gain diverse flying experiences.

Entry Requirements

Ground Theoretical Training / minimum 3 months

The purpose of the ground training is to teach the syllabus for the nine theoretical subjects and to pass the relevant PPL exams. For this purpose, Dento has created its own e-learning platform which allows distance learning, followed by a total 27 hour revision session for all 9 modules.

GROUND SCHOOL / CLASSROOM SCHEDULING

After completing the e-learning module and successfully passing the quizzes, cadets are eligible to attend the corresponding module and participate in classroom revision, either in person or via teleconference. The teleconference option is provided for cadets who reside outside of Cyprus or are unable to attend in person. However, attending the classroom sessions in person is strongly encouraged to enhance engagement with fellow cadets and instructors. PPL revision sessions are scheduled on rotation every Friday. Cadets who join an existing class will attend the training alongside the rest of their peers and will make up any missed lessons once the cycle is completed and begins anew.
